“This is in the top 3 of the best value for money accommodation we've ever stayed in! Why? The location, the welcome, the room, the SUPERB breakfast, the local knowledge and advice, the electric bikes we hired. And in particular the way hosts Stefan and Nikki interacted with us and the other guests, somehow bringing us all together which enhanced the stay even more.We made some great contacts with people who had stayed at Penguino previously .... which speaks volumes in itself. “Sadly there were two very big problems with Whale Rock. 1. It was about 200yds from a huge and filthy township. The approach was through this which was very frightening. We felt it dangerous to go out unless by car. 2. It is advertised as per person, so be careful when booking. We didn’t realise and were surprised when we were charged almost £200 a night, which is definitely way over the top for this place, which is not spectacular and so close to a township. ”
