“I love this little pub - second time I’ve stayed here while passing through. The owners and staff are lovely, the food is nice, the rooms are comfortable, and the area is stunningly gorgeous - I’ve been on some great walks along the Dart River and the other way onto Dartmoor. “I had a wonderful nights stay in a king size bed in an extremely quiet farm away from normal life. There was a good view of the splendid fireworks from the Summer ball down in Tavistock that night, then waking up to a lovely cooked breakfast. The couple were very helpful throughout and I will book again. Don't expect modern day living just homely comfort and a great view of the countryside on a working farm.”

Great facilities though the kettle sends to leak a bit and we had difficulty working the gousto machine (probably us rather than it. ) comfy bed and great shower in bathroom. Up lots of stairs but only had to do them once a day as we left and came in! ”
