“Room was clean and bed comfortable. The place looked fresh, appeared recently redone. Heads up: a damage deposit of $50 in cash is required, credit card not accepted for damage deposit. So, if you don’t have $50 in cash, you will not be able to rent a room. And, when you check out, you have to wait while the manager goes to the room and makes sure there is no damage. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at Dockside. This is a small 24 unit inn. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. There is a pet relief area and picnic tables with grills. ”

“We found this cottage to be exactly as described and pictured. We loved being in the historic district of Yorktown. The cottage is charming and hosts were friendly and responsive through the VRBO chat. ”

“It was a nice get away for our wedding anniversary. We were able to bring our dogs and use the private strip of beach a couple of cottages away. This was a great quiet trip. The only thing that could have been better is the AC in the cottage. A window unit is provided but with 90 temps it couldn’t keep up.”
