“Everything was ez and comfortable. Quick 5 minute walk down to the river or 5 minute drive to the “slab”. Longhorn caverns is ez 20 minute drive. Plenty of kitchen spices,cookware etc. ”

“You never quite know what you’re going to get when staying in remote areas, but this property was a gem. It’s tranquil, quiet, and full of wildlife. We booked it specifically to catch a meteor shower, and it did not disappoint. The dark, starry skies were incredible.The property features an easy hiking trail that follows a jeep path. The owner had kindly mowed a path through the tall grass, which stretched for well over a mile. For those who want a bit more adventure, there are shorter, steeper……

“The location of the house is perfect. Walking distance to downtown and the river. Pastries, juice, milk, cereal and coffee for breakfast. That was a nice treat. The sheets on the bed were dreamy! “We had a w9nderful stay in the Original House. A very cute and cozy room with kitchenette supplied with all we needed including coffee, juice, a cool wine bottle opener. Tge bathroom was very nice with 2 sinks and great shower. Even an heated eye mask and chocolates on the bed. Stacey was a perfect host, bright us a nice sound machine and introduced us to Cali the resident kitty. We were so excited to find out the Christmas parade was on the same nite we were there and passed right by our front……
