“We should have booked for longer! What a beautiful, spacious, well-maintained property. The design details are gorgeous, so much thought has gone into the space. We enjoyed our time there immensely. Ruth was a fabulous and response host and we wanted for nothing. Local amenities (supermarkets, petrol station, takeaways) were great, we really should have spent longer! “Short stay in BoA. Been to the town plenty of times before. This place was great for 4 adults and two little dogs. Fields for dogs not far away, town an easy walk down (not so easy up). Info pack very informative.”

“A comfortable home for our short trip to Bath. Would like to come back and explore the area more.”

“Really enjoyed our stay here. Very roomy, comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Liked the quirky well feature. Lovely shower. Enjoyed being close to horsey neighbours and the local walks along canal/through village.One suggestion - perhaps a small coffee table in lounge we think would be useful.”

“A lovely cottage with history and character. As mentioned in the listings it would not be suitable for someone very tall or with difficulties. Facilities are excellent everything you need supplied. Parking is free but beware spaces can be all taken - it states 23 hours stay - no return for an hour, so be aware there is a car park attendant around! Cottage is within easy reach of the town and Abbey. A lovely stay”

“Lovely stay, really quiet in the accommodation and nearby. We stayed for a little weekend break, lovely area nearby with so many walks and areas to walk round. Dark skies right nearby, 20 minutes walk up onto the hills if you’re into star gazing etc. would stay there again and recommend wholeheartedly. Doug was great and very friendly. ”

“Recommend the property unreservedly but suggest you book directly through cottages.com as that is where Vrbo will throw you anyway. The Vrbo system was a massive let down and caused a great deal of stress with confirmation of the booking. Give them a wide berth but enjoy thi ssuper property if you can.”
