“This home was amazing. The location was perfect, close to the beach, off the beaten path, but an easy drive to Hatteras, or Nags head. ”

“We loved the place. Beach access was easy. We appreciated the outdoor shower. We were very thankful for the shed, loaded with beach goodies (boogie boards, chairs, sand toys, and a wheelbarrow to carry it all). We loved the hot tub at night.Inside was great as well. Very clean, and dinner seating for a large family. The kitchen was very nice (suitable for our annual "meal competitions"), was well equipped, and had plenty of storage space. The beds were comfy. “Beware of renting places that don’t have reviews! We rolled the dice on this one because the online listing looked good and it is dog friendly. The set up for the dog is good with a spacious fenced in area, but the grass was 2 feet tall, giving the place a shabby look. We did enjoy the nice big family room that had plenty of light and a nice comfortable sofa. But everything else in the house was dollar store discount variety. We all agreed that the dining room chairs were the most……

“I just spent a week at Besito del Mar and it was everything we hoped for and more. The house is huge and well thought-out six bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, with an elevator and ramp so that getting around is super easy. The kitchen has plenty of space and tools, there’s a game room downstairs, a hot tub up top with great ocean views, and a private heated pool that was a total hit (especially on cooler mornings). The walk over the dunes to the beach feels effortless, and having an outdoor shower……

“Over all the house was great. Not as nice as i had hoped but it was nice. One of the closets had stuff thrown into it to the point that things were almost falling out of it. EVERY VRBO that i have stayed at before always had toiletries and a few kitchen items to at least get you started the first day or 2. This place had absolutely nothing. We arrived at 1am so nothing to shower with after a 20 hour drive was disappointing. The water view the add spoke of was a small pond out the back……

“We had a great stay. Convenient mid-island location. Near Waves market and restaurants. A little concerned when we pulled up and saw the outside of house but the inside was updated and clean. Had everything we needed. Would have preferred another small couch or loveseat in living room instead of the chair to relax and watch TV, but otherwise comfortable.”
