“Our family of 5 (6, 9, 12) had a great time staying here for our kids first UGA game and first trip back to Athens in at least 15+ years. The apartment was incredibly clean and perfect for our family, with a twin over full bunk in one room, and a queen in a spacious 2nd br. They thoughtfully left us some breakfast food in the fridge and also made sure we had plenty of bottled water when there was an issue with the water main. “The property is nicely located and perfect for activities in Athens. Our problem was the management company, Grand Welcome. When we arrived the unit had not yet been cleaned….. trash everywhere, dirty dishes, a filthy bathroom, etc. When we called the management company the team member asked us to send pictures for verification and said a case would be opened. This company is not local and was dismissive of my concerns. When I asked to be called with an update she told me housekeeping was on……

“This was a great vacation rental. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The refrigerator could have been a bit cleaner, tv in the master bedroom and lower level bedroom were not hooked up or did not work and one of the second upper bedroom twin beds wasn’t very sturdy. However, those small mishaps did not spoil our fun at this amazing beautiful Lakehouse. Thank You”
