“I celebrated 40 years since my Penn State graduation with my senior college roommate at this cabin just a couple miles from Poe Valley State Park. It was a nice peaceful setting near a small stream. The cabin had everything we wanted. Liked the screened-in porch and the recliners (we're getting old). You do need to drive a few miles of dirt roads to get to this area, but the cabin is along a paved road near a small village of cabins just outside the state parks of Poe Valley and Poe Paddy. ……

Hallways and doorways are beat up, but room interiors for the most part contain new furniture and fixtures, and everything was clean and comfortable. The only downside here is the breakfast, which is poor even by "continental breakfast" standards. Everything on offer was high-sugar and high carbohydrate. “The cabin was nice. The bathhouse required us to get in the car as it was a not near by. Be sure to bring a top sheet and blankets for the beds. Thankfully we had some with us. Overall it met our needs. ”
