“This is one of the nicest cheaper hotels I've stayed out; the room is very clean and, at least on my off-season visit, very quiet. No road noise whatsoever. I can't speak to the breakfast, but there is a cold continental breakfast available, since it didn't begin until too late for me. For fellow travelers, I had a great dinner down the road at Brickyard Hollow Brewing Company.”

“So we stayed one night at the hotel for our anniversary. Just to let you know when it says balcony it’s not private, but you did get a beautiful view of a river and the ocean. Lady at the desk was phenomenal. There was an inside pool and a pool outside in a hot tub. The hotel was obviously an older one, but everything was updated and clean. We had a refrigerator full size and a very clean bathroom. I think my only complaint would be that the pillows were very flat and not fluffy.”

“Towne Lyne is a quaint motel. Very comfortable. My room had an attached small porch which would be lovely in the warmer weather. The grounds in the back are inviting for sitting or children to play while enjoying a lovely stream that flows in the back of the motel.”

“My wife and I stayed at the Grasshopper Inn, and had one of the best hotel experiences out of all of our trips so far. The property was spotlessly clean, well maintained, and quite new. The rooms were comfortable, large, and quiet. And we had convenient parking with a reserved space. However, the highlight of our experience was the customer service. “Property was nice outside, the outside type hall was a little in need of some “welcoming” More inviting - some rooms were left open and unmade- and anyone could get in them. We only stayed one night on way to Bar Harbor. No coffee until 8 am only til 10 so no coffee etc during day or evening. No I would not stay there again. ”
