It’s decorated super cutely, the bed was comfy and has everything you need for a stay close to the national park. Opening the big doors next to the bed makes you feel like you’re in the middle of the rainforest - surrounded by vegetation with birds chirping. ”

“The cottage was actually better than expected! Great location right near the park entrance and in a secluded and beautiful jungle neighborhood. The cottage was super clean and very well stocked. There were lots of small details that made it feel very welcoming and very well cared for. Our family of 4 was very comfortable there. Would very happily stay again!”

“We had a wonderful stay at La Cappana. The historic cabin is in a fantastic location in Volcano town right near the Kilauea Lodge with its fantastic restaurant and the Swap Meet at the community center, and a quick and easy drive to the best of Volcano National Park. Even though it is so close to everything Volcano has to offer, the property feels very private with lots of native plants and trees. We enjoyed watching all the birds with our morning coffees We had an added bonus of visiting……

“We had a fantastic stay at this cozy cottage in the woods near Volcano. It had all the amenities we could have wanted and more. The place was spotless, the hot tub was a perfect way to relax after exploring the area, and the outdoor gazebo with the propane heater made for great evenings even when it got chilly. The host had excellent communication—professional, timely, and helpful throughout. The location was ideal, just minutes from Volcanoes National Park, which made it easy to pop in and out……

“It was beautiful. At night there is no one around but all the little noises make you feel like you're in an enchanted forest Perfect for 1 or 2 adults. It is an artistic setting with a store and a little cafe ! It was excellent!”

“Having never stayed in a Yurt of grid i was Amazed at how nice it was. I followed the rule of laundry during the day and had no issues. I titled this country because of the chickens and dogs, if you want a quite nights rest this isn't for you. If you are used to dogs barking and roasters crowingfrom 3am on then you'll be fine. I actually Loved it there!!PS, pool had funky ladder to get in and didn't seem worth the risk But that's what the beach is for.!!Again i Loved it and would Highly……

“We really enjoyed our stay in the Maid's Quarters. The apartment is very comfortable and lovely, with antique furniture and objects that reflect the history of the property and neighborhood. It was a pleasure to cook in the kitchen (sharp knives and a Viking range and oven, both unusual in a rental). The hosts were responsive and welcoming. We loved soaking in the jacuzzi after a day of hiking. We would happily stay here again. Highly recommended.”
