“Great location… just a short ride to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (5 minutes). Beautiful house in an ohia fern forest setting with an outdoor hot tub which was fun for the kids. Kitchen was nicely stocked and the Macnut chocolates and coffee provided was a nice touch! Would definitely rent again! It was a nice relaxing getaway with the family. ”

“Got in on a Friday evening and was greeted by the chirp of the smoke alarm in the master bedroom--the battery was dying. Even though the next day was a Saturday, the host had his handyman (who was a very nice fellow) arrive with ladder and a fresh battery. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood (the sheep next door sleep through the night and are charming during the day.)”

“It was a great place to stay. Make sure you let the host know about problems while there because they fix them fast.”

“I didn’t actually stay there. I had reserved the entire property in may and december23, the Monday before we were supposed to arrive the owner said they were no longer able to accommodate us. They asked me to cancel the stay in order to receive a refund and didn’t answer any calls or emails for help in finding an alternative. Vrbo gave me a credit but was unable to help secure lodging at the last minute (we were already on the island). The volcano erupted Monday so maybe that had something to do……
