“Characterful hotel with lovely spa & gym facilities. The hotel is a bit dated and in need of some referbishments. Our original assigned room was not made up when we got up to it and had to go back to reception. This seemed like a complete shock to the person on reception but the dirty linens were still on the floor, the un-made duvet and pillows were thrown on the bed and there was rubbish and used items from the tea set about the room. After the receptionist made a few quick phone calls we were……

“How compact it was. My son and i visited to see a liverpool match was perfect for this as we only needed place to sleep 😴. Wasnt able to shower privacy clear frosted bathroom area put me off with my son same room. All in all v.clean. nice staff too.”
