“Group of my closest friends from high school stayed on Red Hill Mountain at this superbly rustic and comfortable Claryville farmhouse. Each of us taking respite from work, family, kids, spouses and modernity, we all spent "Groundhog's Day" weekend hiking, hot tubbing, cooking, watching a movie* and relaxing by the fire. “When I reserved my stay for 34 days (I explained this was not a vacation, I was doing an externship for school), I was told the” cottage” was booked for 3 of the 5 weeks, but an art studio was available to rent. I specifically asked to confirm there was a private bathroom, high speed WiFi, and air conditioning. Prior to my arrival I told that she was going to put me in the cottage for 12 days, then move me to the studio. What could I say. The cottage was nice, but the common area was not air……

“This was the perfect cabin for a quick family getaway in the Catskills. Peter was very responsive to any questions before, during, and after our trip making checkin and checkout a breeze. The cabin was equipped with anything we could possibly need, from massive coffee makers, flashlights, plenty of seasoned wood for the beautiful fireplace to first aid kits and I even saw an EpiPen in the fridge!! The large dinning room table is where we spent time every night playing games. I enjoyed my coffee……

“Overall pleased with the experience. Rooms were all well set. Very clean house. Very communicative hosts. Any time I had a question or need for assistance they were responsive within 5 minutes. Some things I wish were a bit better were the cookware and appliances, but they worked. The game room games were in a bit of disrepair, but were still fun for the most part. I would love to try this place again in nicer weather to check out the pool.”
