“We have stayed at this lodge many times over the years. It's great especially if you are hiking in Minnewaska. They have renovated some rooms and some common areas but there are many other areas that still need a refresh. Price per night has gone up considerably and we were expecting the lodge to be pristine. Also, they tacked on a "resort fee" to our already high rate and I am not sure what we got for that. Front entrance porch boards needs paint, hallway rugs are old/stained and renovated……

“This is a unique place. The architecture and furnishings are a mix of old fashioned and modern, and there are stunning views from your room and the restaurant. Whoever designed this place was super-smart about how they situated it and melded it with the natural environment. The staff is top-notch; professional but friendly. All the food we had was delicious, and the Pub above the main restaurant was a lovely place to just chill and enjoy the ambiance. We would definitely go back.”

“We enjoyed our stay very much. For me, the tastefully appointed rooms, mellow vibe and friendly atmosphere really hit the mark. For my husband, the comfortable bed and walkable location. For both of us, the tapas dinner and breakfast options were top notch! We would highly recommend it and would return again if the fishing calls us back to the area.”

“It is a lovely facility. The staff is kind and helpful. We had some confusion on checking in, I had apparently booked a room without a private bath or closet. As we were there to attend a wedding, I wanted my own bathroom and a place to hang our "dressup" clothes. They were able to change our room and accomodate us.”

“Overall room appearance at first was great. But small details were overlooked. Wastebaskets in room/ bathroom were filthy. The bottom wall in bathroom by door was dirty. There wasn’t a hairdryer in the room. The bedframe for one of the beds was broken. This would’ve been discovered when housekeeping prepared the beds prior to our arrival. ”

“The front desk staff were very kind & accommodating. Alana was always very cheerful and helpful. I was able to check in earlier into the creekside cabin. It was very cute & cozy, and bigger than I expected. The property is very nice. The kids had fun making s'mores in the main hotel, which they do every evening. “Our one night stay was quiet and comfortable. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was late April so there was no activity on the property and I did not meet with any staff members. “Great vibe, but the Inn is quite old and noise travels. Luckily we were the only ones staying there. Other visitors had booked cabins. But when they come for morning coffee, they can be heard quite clearly. The manager is friendly and responsive. The bartender is top notch. The morning coffee is quite good as are the cookies! Overall, nice relaxing stay. ”

“I was attending a wedding in the area so decided to stay at Resorts. The hotel rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms are one of the biggest I ever seen. There are a number of food options in the hotel the prices are on par with hotels. The food was good. Now you know the casino was the second reason I picked Resorts. It has something for everyone. I definitely recommend this hotel. ”

“Great stay and a very quiet and relaxed upscale property. Staff knew who we were before we arrived and were ready a willing to assist to ensure any specific wants or needs were met. The surrounding forest and lake were large and completely open for exploring. Rooms are huge and incredibly well appointed. Food is 5 star for breakfast, lunch and dinner. ”

“Everything was awesome!!! The grounds are incredible and so many places to walk around. Every single person of the staff was incredible. They were so nice, helpful, etc. and the restaurant on property is amazing. There wasn’t one item that wasn’t delicious. I would say the only issue is when it rains/snows. As it get muddy everyone. They have one road paved but would be cool if the other was paved and a paved walkway up to each cabin. But that’s such a minor thing compared to how……
