“to be clear i had an amazing time and really loved it. it’s a cute place and the access to nature was EXCEPTIONAL. but it definitely could be cleaner. i found big spider webs behind the bed, dust on kitchen objects (kettle, seasonings, bowls), and dusty side tables too. it’s understandable that one can’t find every single hair but there were visible long hairs stuck to the bathroom floor and i kept finding hairs on me as well (definitely not mine). the worst part was that the towels and spare……

“Property was very clean and well maintained. The property hosts were very friendly and welcoming! Our kids enjoyed the stay and visiting the horses, peacocks, and chickens. It is a great area in Maryland to stay. ”

“Nice neighborhood, private studio apartment attached to single family home, easy driveway parking, very close to small town main street with shops, sidewalk bistro, restaurants, ice cream, brewery, and weekend outdoor bands. 2 comfortable bedrooms and shared bathroom between.them. separate private laundry room with full size washer dryer. We would stay here again, good value. Thx!”

“Beautiful new home. Plenty of space for a small group to stay at and have their own space too. Owner was very good and quick on responding. It was perfect for what we needed in the area. Very clean too. ”

“We didn’t stay. We when arrived, instead of a room in the guest house, we were expected to stay in a tentlike structure. In addition, the bathroom facilities were outdoor showers and commodes that required a climb up a set of stairs. Luckily we were able to secure a room at another facility. The owner supposedly requested a refund for me but I haven’t heard whether this has been approved.”

“What an awesome house in a great location. Just a short walk to all of Frederick's shopping, breweries and restaurants, yet far enough away to be quiet at night. We stayed in the front bedroom upstairs and the bed was very comfortable. The house is fun to just hang out in too. We enjoyed checking out Laurie's books, vinyls and art while we were there.”

“My husband, 10 month old, mother, step-dad and myself stayed 4 nights in this BEAUTIFUL home! The house is off a quiet back rode but only a short drive from Gettysburg. The property owners were so kind and accommodating. We (of course) forgot a bag of baby toys in the chaos of packing to leave, i contacted the owners and they were more than willing to work with us in getting our items back. I cannot recommend this house enough!!”

Our doggies enjoyed sniffing around at all the interesting scents outside on the farm, although they were a little intimidated by the horses...lol. wonderful hosts. Would definitely recommend. ”
