“Great staff. Clean room”

“It's been a long, long time since I've stayed at an old style motel. ”

“Our overall stay was excellent when we were there from Friday (8/8) until Sunday (8/10). Our room was cleaned when we first checked in. The only thing that was unusual was the setup of our bathroom because sink and faucet were located right next to our main room door. Toilet and shower were together in the same room separate from sink & faucet. This set up reminded me of how some of the bathrooms in France were set up. The biggest gripe for me was the stairway across from room 302 going down……

“The property was quiet with adequate parking directly in front of your room. This is a single level motel, so no having to use stairs or deal with noisy people above you. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean with a functioning fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The bed was comfy and the AC worked great against the TX heat! There is a nice desk, tv w/ remote, dresser, and night stands in the room. The property is easy to access from the freeway but the rooms are tucked away……

“Really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this historic site. It was super clean, nice evening entertainment & comfortable beds. Only thing that was disappointing is no mini frig in our room (building 1 room 121) but our friends in 2 other rooms had them. requiring you to go all the way to the office building to get an ice bucket, no daytime bar/snack service at the pool during the day yet the website says seasonal service.”
