“Nice house but needs some cleaning. Refrigerator had old food and was dirty. Lawn and grass was very high and unkept. Pool and backyard were messy and pool was full of muddy water. (Not available to guest but wouldn’t have used it anyway). Saw several rats come out of the garage roof. This place needs some tender loving care”

“We really wanted to get away for a few nights and relax, this spot was perfect. The area is beautiful, the house is great, the bed was comfortable, and it was nice and quiet. Towns are close enough to get some food or supplies and get back to doing nothing, Mineola, Hawkins, and Lindale are great little towns. Nelda was very helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay.”

“We had our annual Father/Son duck hunt, and always stay at this house. It is perfect for a larger group and there is plenty of area for the kids to play baseball and football. ”

“Needs a lot of upkeep. Run down. Trash all around the pond. Grill was full of old used charcoal above the grate. Only 5 coffee mugs. No dishwasher. We ended up only sleeping there. Went to our friends at another place during day. ”
