“I absolutely loved my stay at the Drift Inn in Cayo. Bike rental was cheap and convenient, though I wish they had bike locks. Air conditioning was so nice to have. Great atmosphere, live music and karaoke on weekends, staff were all very social and welcoming. Made me feel right at home. Their restaurant also had some of the best food I’ve had in all of Belize. If you like Belizean culture, sometimes they have the Garifuna Collective play a concert, sadly I missed it! I would recommend this……

The staff was incredibly accommodating, especially when I mentioned that the initial bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked. But the hosts Debbie and Blair really make the difference. I felt like a guest in their home and can't wait to go back and visit with them. “It was great. The waterfalls on site are stunning. The views from the restaurant are amazing and the staff was great. They were always friendly and attentive. The only complaint is that it needs some sort of AC for during the day. Fans weren't enough to keep the room cool in the hot season. Other times of the year I'm sure it's perfect. I'd still highly recommend it.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Mariposa, the tone was set the moment we arrived. We checked in late and I went to go run in to give our information, our server Robby insured that he needed to greet us properly and asked all our guests to come in for a welcome drink which we thoroughly enjoyed, the kitchen was also waiting on to offer us dinner before they went home for the evening. We stayed in blue morpho which was close to the pool and bar. There was accessible parking. Staff was accompanying to all……

“I wish we would have planned more time here vs at the coast. Cohune Palms was the highlight of our Belize trip. This place was paradise!! We were reluctant at first due to no a/c but the weather cooled off at night and was perfect. Fans during the day kept everything enjoyable. The river next to the resort was beautiful and a blast to swim in and enjoy the rope swing. We have 50x the mosquitos here in California…with a little bug spray you barely even notice them there.
