“The English breakfast was really good”

“The rooms are gorgeous. They are in a small courtyard. Lounge area with TV and kitchen area with kettle and toaster. Plus fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge. Small dining table and chairs. No cooking facilities but great if you want a takeaway.”

“Great little hotel above an English Pub. Was relatively quiet after the pub closed. Great central location, friendly staff, wonderful food. No air conditioning but they did provide a couple of fans and we kept the window open so that cooled the room well enough. The beds were a bit on the firm side but overall was a great room. ”

“I work a lot in the area and Palmers Ale House is my only choice when it comes to finding somewhere to stay. The food is fabulous, lovely staff and a good selection beers and wines to choose from!”
