“Well, we should have a good experience there since it locates in the nature. But the management is poor because they charged us twice! I booked the hotel on hotels.com and paid immediately, but after coming back our country, I checked my bills and found the hotel charged one more time through my credit card! After complaining this situation to hotel.com, the hotel is still processing and hasn's reply for one week! What a shame!”

“We used the hotels as a base for a safari tour and it was an ideal base. The location is great, being a short walk (1500m) out of Tissa. Lake Wind Resort is a beautiful heritage building that has had life injected again by new management. The team could not have been more helpful and attentive. “We had a wonderfully relaxing few days. The staff were friendly and helpful and the meals were most enjoyable. Our room was immaculately clean and the water was hot. It was lovely to be able to sit out on a balcony and read. The manager arranged a great safari to Bandula National Park and provided us with a very tasty breakfast to take with us. “Vi brugte hotellet som base for en safari i Yala National Park. Stedet er familiedrevet og med en meget hjælpsom og omsorgsfuld ejerinde. Vores værelse havde udsigt over rismarkerne, hvor der altid var aktivitet, både af mennesker, dyr og fugle. Stedet er rustikt men med alle nødvendige faciliteter i god stand.
