“Very clean and comfortable property. It was very relaxing and a great place to wind down after long days hiking trails around the surrounding areas. Lots of deer sightings every day which was really fun and a nice bonus. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“We took my 14 year old daughter up for the weekend for the Red Clay Strays show at Beech Mountain. The place was absolutely adorable and had beautiful views of the ski resort and mountains. I felt so relaxed all weekend long! We had a little issue when we first got there but the cohost was so quick to respond and get us all taken care of. We would absolutely stay here again & Hope to!”

“The cabin was very comfortable and well equipped. The location was great and 10 minutes away from the local town and ski resort. There were lots of deers running around the property which made our stay magical. The wifi didn’t worked for us on our phones or the on the tvs but could’ve been due to the weather, however the deers made up for it. The beds were very comfortable and the outside area was lovely. Will definitely recommend!”

“This house was very high in the mountains. Not all of the sliding doors were able to lock, and they were extremely hard to open. The window in the master bath didn’t have a shade so the neighbors could watch you shower. The dryer needs attention, it took two hours for 3 pair of jeans to dry. There were ants on the kitchen table because of food in the cracks. The upstairs sick doesn’t drain. The toilet in the master was very loose and kept banging when you sat down. Someone left dog poo on the……

“The Mossy Rock Retreat was a perfect setting for our mother daughter ski trip! The house had everything we could possibly need and was so enchanting with a few holiday decorations still up. The beds were comfortable and the kit wh had everything we needed! The coffee bar was great too. We loved being just minutes from Beech mountain to. Thanks for letting us stay! We loved this home ”

“This property is by far the most beautiful, well appointed, and cleanest home we have ever stayed in. We always worry about what food to bring up the mountain with us and tend to pick easy quick fix meals. However, I could have very easily cooked an entire Christmas dinner here. When I say they had everything… they had everything we could have needed! The home is beautiful and has so much space for everyone. “This was a wonderful place to escape and enjoy the North Carolina Mountains. The space was very clean and was terrifically stocked with plenty of towels, toiletries, and household items. Communication with the owner was also terrific and her response time was quick. Thanks for having such a nicely maintained space to rest and relax.”
