“Great location, excellent communication, plenty of towels. Sunsets were pretty and there is a nice stream below but sound was overpowered by traffic noise and nearby construction. It is definitely lacking space of closet/wall hooks or shelves as others noted and some window shades wouldn’t stay up. We enjoyed hiking and disc golf on Beech Mtn and it was cool enough even in July to relax in the hot tub afterwards. Lots of deer in the neighborhood! ”

“The house is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed skiing for several of the days we were in town. The roads can be difficult to traverse even with 4 wheel drive, and the driveway is a bit difficult especially with ice/snow. There are a lot of stairs so be prepared to get some exercise! The kitchen is well equipped as we cooked the majority of our stay. The hot tub was wonderful to soak in after a day of skiing. We loss power one morning due to a storm, and the host was very helpful. Overall, we……

“Upon arrival only linens and bedding for 1 bed. Rancid septic smell/rotting corpse eminating through house We had to share a bed to avoid sleeping on bare mattress. 1 fork and butter knife between 4 guests. 1 large pasta pot to cook and hear water in. ”

“This was a great place to stay. Older, but still so charming and very clean. Close to the resort. Loved the hot tub and had plenty of room for our group. The porch is a perfect place to sit in the breeze. Would totally stay here again! ”
