“This property is beautiful and well designed for a large group. It is close to shopping and restaurants. The only thing I would say that made the stay less than perfect was the noise and pandemonium from the large construction project directly across the street. ”

“The 2 br apt was perfect for my wife and me. We had trouble checking in with the key code for the door, but it was fixed promptly and the manager even appeared in a few minutes to make sure all was well. Nice parking. Thanks to the owner/manager!”

“Loved the property itself. It was very comfortable, funky and fun decor and a very good location for downtown and King Street shopping and restaurants. The small issues were an iron but no ironing board; WiFi never worked even after notifying the host and the property appears to be next door to a biker bar, which was very loud at night. All that said, I would recommend it if you’re not bothered by noise. I’m assuming WiFi usually works. ”

“The house was clean, well stocked and great for our family’s stay. The host was on site next door. The plunge pool is a nice amenity. The location is walkable to coffee shop & wine shop and restaurants.”

“The Gemstone is a gem! Beautiful bedrooms with most bedrooms having private bathrooms. Living room and kitchen spaces are plenty large and equipped. Only hiccups were street noise, one bathroom sink didn’t drain and dryer did not work but overall good for groups needing easy downtown access. I would rent this space again if needing to be downtown.”

“This was a great home-base for a mother-daughter trip to Charleston. The apartment is very comfortable and has all the essentials you need. I would recommend a rolling suitcase as there’s a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the apartment. The neighborhood is great. It was easy for us to catch an UBER to go downtown. Great weekend!”
