“The property was fine. Nothing exceptional or terrible. The AC unit didn't work well, so it felt damp, but the room was clean, and desk staff were friendly. The daily breakfast was fine. There weren't any dining options within walking distance. The area felt like it was in transition, with a lot of empty businesses. We rented a car as wanted to go around Charleston, so it didn't matter much for our experience in town, but it was more out of the way than I was expecting. (That's a me error, and……

“Beautiful brand new hotel. The area immediately surrounding the hotel is a little sketchy. A days inn motel with a few tractor trailers parked along the road. A lot of choices for food and shopping as the Tanger Outlet is just across the street. Asked for late checkout and they said they didn’t offer it. That was disappointing because we were working 30 minutes away and left early and would have been nice to be able to shower and leave for our 5 hour drive ”
