“AWESOME place for a Mid-May visit. Cozy, clean, quaint, close to everything! I love a true old fashioned lodge vibe and Ponderosa Lodge had it. While our room overlooked the road, the sound of the river provided peaceful white noise to cover any traffic noise. Bonus: we saw elk right outside our balcony by the river as soon as we got to our room. I hope to be back to the area after people season wraps up and I will definitely choose Ponderosa Lodge again. ”

“Every employee we interacted with was very pleasant and friendly, especially the staff in the lobby. It felt like chatting with small town neighbors. We LOVED our cabin! The property is walking distance to town (one mile on a flat path). We WILL stay there again next time we head to Estes Park. ”

“The "Deer" suite was a great option for a couple. We stayed for two nights and totally enjoyed the property as an affordable option near town with a very nice view. The property manager was very welcoming, and he does a great job keeping the units, which are older, in good repair. The queen bed was quite comfortable; the love seat was fine; the kitchen appliances worked well, and the kitchen was equipped with more than enough cookware and dinnerware for two. “Beautiful property close to everything, just minutes from Estes Park in one direction and National Park in the other. Very comfortable bed, nice kitchen for preparing meals and snacks. Gorgeous views from deck. Wasn’t aware of a few steps leading up to house from the driveway, but shouldn’t be an issue for most people. Just something to be aware of if elderly or knee issues. Overall would stay here again. Private and nice. ”
