“My family lived The Blue Door in for its convenient location to the RMNP entrances. The room was clean, bright, spacious with comfortable beds, coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge. Parking right outside the door and 2 large windows, one of which looked out to the big grassy area (Mountain View) and adorable little chipmunks running from burrow to burrow. Quite entertaining! “The only thing we didn’t like was that the parking lot was small and full. We were there on a busy weekend due to softball tournament but I feel they should accommodate for all guests paying for their stay. We asked the receptionist where do we park. He suggested we park across the street at 7/11! Very inconvenient ”

I didnt get check in email but they responded right away when i messaged them on hotels.com and we checked in fine. Parking was plenty and it felt private and not snooty...there was rustic charm...my kind of place. It was just perfect to me. ”
