“Ignore the reviews. Yes it's a 2 star hotel. And Yes it needs work doing to it. It was like a hotel that time forgot. Breakfast was basic full English. I dont eat meat so wasnt a problem I had eggs on toast and fruit if i wanted it. We found it charming, had character. The couple were lovely. Mrs Gamble couldn't do enough. Was like being at my Grandma's house. Thank you Mr and Mrs Gamble”

“We loved our stay! The home is a beautiful example of Arts and Crafts style. The garden is exquisite and the breakfast and food delicious, but the charm and hospitality comes most from the gracious and kind hosts! They made us feel like family or cherished friends.
