“Beautiful Hotel.great beds and bed linen . Had best sleep in a long time, Had a bar meal enjoyed Breaded Chicken Burger , reasonably priced. Efficient breakfast room it was quite busy . Sat down right away and excellent buffet , only criticism. No brown bread for toast, only white .”

“Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help.”

“Parking space is not enough. We’re lucky that the council parking in the opposite side of the street is free on Saturday night, so we can get a space. Table top, shelf and hook for hanging clothes or bag in the guest room is not enough too. Staffs are so nice and helpful, but the hygiene of restaurants tables and chairs need improvement. ”
