“There were two things that I noticed that were not as 'clean' as expected: There were cobwebs in the room, and the rug on the balcony had algae on it. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was very polite.”

“The room and property were great. The staff was not very friendly, they didn't seem happy to be there or ready to welcome guests. The breakfast was not at all welcoming, there was not much there. There was coffee, but no bread for toast, and there was syrup but nothing to put it on. There were only a couple apples that were shriveling. Not much at all in the small cooler. We left and went somewhere else to eat. When we checked out again the staff was uninterested.”

“I’d stay here again. Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, and they have a continental breakfast included. It has the 100+ year old Victorian look and feel, but with a few modern upgrades such as an elevator, AC, and key cards. We didn’t have time to use the outdoor heated spa pool, but it looked inviting. The room could have used more places to hang towels and clothes. There was a small shelf with coat hangers poorly positioned directly over the nightstand and lamp. The room didn’t have a……

“The only issues we had was the loud people above us. There was hardly anyone there and it was kind of annoying that people were put so close together. Also the tub would not drain in room 14 and the shower knobs need replaced. Overall a good experience. ”

“I would NOT stay there again. The first room we were assigned had no electricity in the bathroom. The glass mirror was on the floor instead of being mounted, there was a hole in a wall with wire sticking out, the hotel phone did not work and the number posted for the hotel was inaccurate. There was no coffee maker in the first or second room I was assigned . The bathroom floor had some mud colored substance on it, the shower did not function, caulking around the bathtub faucet had black on it.……
