“I did not like the smoking in front of the entrance door. I’m asthmatic.”

“Clean room, but there is nothing in the kitchen. You need to tell the front desk what you need. There wasn’t even a plastic drinking glass. It was late when I arrived and early when I left so i didn’t bother to stock the room. I’d stay there again but I’ll be better prepared.”

“I just arrived. My room was very clean and very comfortable. The place seems quiet and very well organized. So far I really like this hotel”

“I've stayed at lots of hotels in Old Saybrook and this is my favorite. The rooms are comfy. The staff is friendly. The management is conscious of indoor air quality (other hotels are not). I travel a lot for business and it's great to find a place I can get comfortable in. I've extended my stay here for these reasons.”

“We have been coming to the taber inn for many years and have never been disappointed. The only thing i wish they had was either a microwave or small fridge in the room. Otherwise they are perfect ”

“The location of the hotel itself isn't bad, but the entrance to the hotel property isn't obvious and getting in and out can be a bit tight for two vehicles when the hotel is busy, as it was during my stay, they were sold out. For an older property my room and the hotel was very clean and well kept. Honestly one of the better rooms I've stayed in. The staff was friendly. I was also informed by the manager that the hotel will be renevated over the next year, still my room was in very good……
