“I love this place. Next time I wish I could have a better view. I went there before the new rooms were added. Every time I went there, I stayed in the main building right upstairs from the check-in facing the water with my husband and I absolutely loved it. I was actually married there in the old ballroom. I was put in a room that I faced the side of the building and parking lot. I like it there because you can have your meals there if you want they should put a microwave in the rooms. I grew……

“Our recent stay at Saybrook Point Inn was lovely, and we especially enjoyed our engagement anniversary dinner at Fresh Salt. The only area for improvement was the wedding reception on Friday night. The music and vibrations from the ballroom kept us awake until 11 pm, which is past Old Saybrook's 10 pm noise ordinance. ”

“Small motel, friendly proprietors, sufficient space in the room, fridge, microwave, heater – all work. Hot water also sufficient. A basic "value for money" place. Nothing fancy, but adequate for spending the nights, while the days are in the towns or on the beach. ”
