“Good value. The doors are really loud no matter how gently you try to close them. The walk to city centre is on a very busy road, but the upside is there plenty of shopping close to the hostel. ”

“This is a professionally run hostel with a nice breakfast room and simple breakfast, a few minutes walk from the city center of Galway. The comfort level was fine for a hostel, and we had no problems. The cost was pretty high, though, as it is similar to what a Bed and Breakfast costs.”

“Expedia screwed up, she has been closed since January due to her husband being ill and they never canceled us or let us know. Miss Maureen was so sweet and made calls to make sure we had a place to stay since everywhere was booked (it’s busy season) one of her friends had space for us and made sure we were well taken care of!”

“Budget accommodation without the manky factor, on lovely campus. Helpful staff. Bed not so comfortable, but everything clean and fresh. Shower a problem - impossible to adjust or aim, stinging pressure but mostly missed your body and soaked your hair. In all, enjoyed our stay, and felt it was good value. ”
