“Great little room ”

“Property was nice outside, the outside type hall was a little in need of some “welcoming” More inviting - some rooms were left open and unmade- and anyone could get in them. We only stayed one night on way to Bar Harbor. No coffee until 8 am only til 10 so no coffee etc during day or evening. No I would not stay there again. ”

“Great location, friendly staff. Breakfast fully stocked and clean. Kitchen staff even entertained mybquestuons about all the beautiful plants in the dining area! ”

“Mother/daughter weekend. Walkable to the footbridge and right next to 3 restaurants. Clean, nicely decorated and great price in May. ”

“I like staying here. Yes, it's an older property and a bit worn. The price reflects that though. The other near by properties are much higher in price but it's hit and miss on cleanliness and quietness. But here at the Anchorage it's clean. It's quiet. The staff has always greeted me with a smile and are helpful. Whenever I have to come back here for meetings I will stay at the Rochester Anchorage.”
