“I have stayed here several times. It’s a great way to camp without all the fuss. You feel like you’re enjoying nature without having to pack a bunch of essentials. We stayed in a king bedroom with shower and bathroom. Everything you need is there and it’s close to grocery stores. The pond is wonderful. “So we stayed one night at the hotel for our anniversary. Just to let you know when it says balcony it’s not private, but you did get a beautiful view of a river and the ocean. Lady at the desk was phenomenal. There was an inside pool and a pool outside in a hot tub. The hotel was obviously an older one, but everything was updated and clean. We had a refrigerator full size and a very clean bathroom. I think my only complaint would be that the pillows were very flat and not fluffy.”

“Property was nice outside, the outside type hall was a little in need of some “welcoming” More inviting - some rooms were left open and unmade- and anyone could get in them. We only stayed one night on way to Bar Harbor. No coffee until 8 am only til 10 so no coffee etc during day or evening. No I would not stay there again. ”

“I had a king oceanfront room on the third floor. The room was clean and set up nicely. I had a corner room so I had windows on two sides which made for a nice breeze flowing in. The ocean is directly across the street and it’s a short walk to the nearest beaches in either direction. Unlike a hotel, there isn’t anyone at the front desk after 8 pm but I didn’t need that.
