“This is an old hotel. It's used by tour groups. That tells you what to expect. Yes, it is a bit dated but the rooms are fine and the staff are absolutely lovely. Breakfast is good and generous. Oban is full of very expensive hotel rooms in the season and I was very happy with the rate Expedia gave me. It's right by the bus and train stations and very near the ferries. It's fine and I'd stay again ”

“Excellent self-check-in hotel on the A83 looking directly into a stunning view of Loch Fyne at Inverary. Lovely garden with seating area for relaxing, eating, drinking or just taking in the view. Well appointed room and with fridge, kettle, tea, coffee. En-suite with fluffy towels, cotton buds, soap and shower gel. Close to lovely cafés and bars of Inverary and walkable to the beautiful castle. Would recommend!”

The house is beautiful and has a very stunning view and within short walking distance to the town centre. The breakfast was very satisfying and delicious. We will certainly come back when we next visit Campbeltown.”
