“We appreciated the location of the hotel, the snacks you had for sale and that it is pet friendly. the arm chairs in the room were not comfortable and felt well worn. ”

“Newly renovated motel right on the ocean. Clean pool with nice pool deck furniture. A few restaurants and an ice cream shop within walking distance. Management lives onsite and he was very helpful for all our needs. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Surf Side Hotel. It is right on the beach. Great location for a good price. Walkable to Jennette’s Pier among other attractions. The hotel provides beach chairs if you ask the front desk staff. Access to the beach was really easy. We enjoyed the complementary wine and cheese happy hour and the late-night chocolate chip cookie hour. The breakfast at the hotel was also good. Each morning they had some staples that never changed, but they did rotate a few items to keep……

“What a gem of a place. The view from the waterside rooms is worth every penny! This place had that old school charm and hospitality you don’t get anywhere else these days. Bruce the bartender makes the stay memorable and makes you feel welcome. Book it for the views, stay for the stories, and enjoy the tiki bar and pool. I will be coming back next year. Such a memorable trip with this place. Bonus is the water sports are just outside the hotel and you get free access to the huge gym facility……

“I cleaned vacation rentals in Southport NC for many years this room needs a deep cleaning. Walls are dirty air conditioner unit is full of mold. An air cleaner was provided but it needs cleaning too. Everything needs deep cleaning! ”
