“My second time in a year to the Lake District. Great Hotel and excellent rooms. My room was flooded with light and a big comfortable bed. Heating was great and the house keeping. The breakfasts are fantastic and certainly worth the indulgence. It’s located in a lovely village, with breweries, pubs, tea rooms and local craft shops. I highly recommend a stay. ”

“A great guest house in the heart of Ambleside with secure parking a two minute walk away. Room was excellent, very well decorated ad fitted out. ON-suite was good and the shower was super powerful. Tracey and Kevin were great, super friendly and breakfasst was top notch, loved the big fat cumberland sausage and the poached eggs were excellent. Would highly reccomend.”

“Can't praise the staff enough, helpful, friendly, accomodating, and the room was lovely. We both had the full English breakfast which was superbly cooked and high quality, and check in was easy and convenient. The only downside was that the mattress was just too firm for both myself and my wife which lead to a quite uncomfortable nights sleep, the staff kindly offered to switch rooms however they all have the same mattress on the beds so this wouldn't have improved the situation, and we decided……
