“We really enjoyed staying at The Monte Vista during the Sourwood Festival. It was great to walk to town to eat and attend the festival. The hotel is old but very charming. It has a lot of stairs and no TV in some rooms, so be sure to book a room accordingly.”

“Dirt road/drive. Not a lot of room for navigation, but enough room to move around. The house was quaint and perfect. Check in was an envelope left on a table. Perfect! Serves a purpose for a one night stay. No refrigerator and limited outlets. Would stay again!”

“Stone’s Throw is a 5 star property. The home looks brand new, very well decorated and with beautiful furnishings. It’s immaculate too with crisp, white linens and towels. A relaxing porch in the back offers a private yard with a fire table and plenty or seating. Walking distance to downtown Black Mountain. We’ll definitely stay there again.”
