“My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here. Made for the perfect Valentine’s weekend! Walkable to every restaurant and bar we wanted to explore. On a safe, relatively quiet street as well. Would definitely stay here again!”

“This was a very sweet space. They thought of everything! There are a few things within walking distance, but it is a little farther out from the French Quarter area. That said, it is also more affordable than other places! There is offstreet parking, which is nice, but believe it when they say only small cars will fit!”

“The Gemstone B was amazing. It was spacious, clean and had everything you would need for time with friends or family in Charlton. It is the second story of the house so it was nice that no one is above you. The host/management company was incredible at providing round the clock assistance, and it ended up we really didn't need anything because the place was so well stocked! Plenty of toiletries, towels, kitchenware etc. The walk to King St. took less than 5 minutes and there was even a cute……

“The location is great and the property is spacious inside and lots of bathrooms if you are staying with a larger group. We just had an issue with the cleanliness of the all the bed linens. There was communication with the property managers that did eventually resolve the issue but it was just a disappointing start to the stay especially given the high end type of property and price per night. The bathrooms were clean and spacious and the location is decent. The street is very loud and noisy……

“The area around the house is unsafe! One of our vehicles was vandalized. This is an ongoing issue for this district according to the police department. The suite does not have adequate supplies for meal prep, cooking or cleaning up. The street is very busy & noisy all hours of days. Parking at the rental is limited to 2 vehicles (even though it says 3) for an 8 bedroom house (split into two suites).”

“The building is very nice. Be careful when booking to make sure you are getting the right room, because it is not clearly listed on Expedia. The customer service is some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. It’s not like a normal hotel. They clearly do not care about your satisfaction and treated us with a very unprofessional attitude.”

Two weeks later I am still waiting and she is now ignoring my requests for an update. There were dangerous protests the weekend we were in town so we decided to cut our trip short. The stay at Suites on Cannon was not at all what I expected. The room we got was nothing like a suite. It was tiny with a bed and a bathroom barely big enough to fit either. The room……
