“Our room and entire floor smelled of possible mildew and/or water damage. The shower drain was broken so we had to put something to keep it lodged open. And significant mold stains in restroom. Was not aware the hotel is going through major construction. Only 1 elevator was working. Construction workers and tools are loud. No pool. No gym. No lobby. Won't be finished for a long time. Staff was super nice and helpful. 10 stars for them.”

“The Vinland Hotel and Lounge was a great spot for our Solvang getaway. Only two things that would have made our stay perfect: 1) we need an ADA room, which we got. However, the bed height was almost 6 inches higher than an average bed, and for a wheelchair user with limited mobility this is impossible to get into and out of without assistance; 2) every step and roll and thump of our neighbors above us shook the walls and rattled the nightstand contents - at a time we were not especially ready to……

“I have stayed many times at this hotel. Its my favorite in the Ventura area! Comfortable, beautiful and plenty of amenities, also walkable into the quaint downtown area and the ocean boardwalk is connected to the property. It's a wonderful place to sray!”
