“didn’t provide bottle water in room and you have to pay for parking fee”

“Great location for walking Old Folsom and a great starting point to ride the nearby bike trails. Plumbing is a bit noisy and room doors slam shut rather than soft close so it can make for a noisy evening.”

“The hotel isn’t the most modern but it is highly utilitarian. The kitchen was well stocked. The breakfast was as good a “free” hotel breakfast as you could get. The staff was wonderful and immediately attentive to small things during our five night stay. Finally, the location is outstanding. Easy walk, maybe 1/4 mile, with full ski equipment to the Heavenly gondola. We would stay here again. ”

“The staff was wonderful. Love the family cabin. Someone trying to get in at night… I’m assuming was a bear… was a little alarming . Other than that I had a relaxing , quiet, peaceful stay at Emerald Bay Lodge!!! Will definitely stay again. Thank you for making my vacation great!”

“A historic hotel, excellent proximity to walkable restaurants and shops. I enjoy the two separate bedrooms for my family. I would have been happier with a less-saggy mattress (bed comfort weighs heavily in my ratings). Bathroom and linens were clean. Shower squealed during use. This is an excellent and affordable waypoint between Tahoe and the SF Bay.”
