“Winifred the waitress, was always there to help you with food choice or drinks, And always smiling. Also Top chef, Thomas would always come out of kitchen and ask if your food was ok and not fergetting mzungu the other chef with his lovely pasta. Will definetly return.Graeme and Ross”

“Reef Hotel is a fantastic place to stay—truly a super hotel in a stunning location. It’s set right on the ocean, with its own deck chairs in the resort with a small path down to the public beach, making it perfect for relaxing by the water. Our room was excellent—spacious, well-equipped, and everything worked perfectly. We had constant hot water, a working fridge and safe, excellent air conditioning, and a lovely balcony to enjoy the view. The hotel also felt very sustainable and blended……

“Lovely, helpful staff and a great location, right by the water where you look down on everyday life, dhows, donkeys and all. Quiet garden with pool and sunloungers. Excellent rooftop restaurant. 30 minute walk to Lamu or short boatride. Large, traditional rooms so don't expect TVs. ”
