“An absolute pearl on the Kenyan coast. The location is quite and beautiful, with professional and super friendly staff and management. The food was amazing and served in wonderful atmosphere. We stayed for five nights and enjoyed every second, either on the beach or in the pool, watching baby turtles crawl to the sea with the Tiwi Turtle Police or visiting the nearby star fish sanctuary and the African pool. “The Penthouse is a blissful experience and if you need anything Gilbert will ensure your get it. We asked if he could get us snapper and vegetables for dinner and he organised for it to be delivered and grilled for us by an onsite chief. It was delicious 10/10 and we could continue our holiday without worrying about food. Swahili house is everything we were looking for, Diani beach experience but more peacful without the crowds. “This was a complete mess. To start, they forgot about our reservation and had to put us in a temporary room for two days. During this time, there was a blackout that no one thought to update us on. Honestly, that temporary room was the best part of the stay. “The breakfast included us amazing. Eggs made to order, sausage/bacon, yogurt, fruit, juice, the best coffee I had in Kenya, and a wonderful selection of breads. The staff was lovely… each and every one. The pool is small but well cared for and clean. I liked being off the beaten track and yet only a couple of blocks away from the beach. I was traveling solo so for safety paid a local to walk me back to the hotel after dinner on the beach. I was very sad to leave this little heaven”

“This place does not offer what they advertise. Contact number is not Kenyan. Very poor communication when eventually comtacted. Shared toilet and showeroom - which was unaware of when booking. Room not cleaned during stay and had to request clean towels. Kitchen area poorly maintained. Noisy at times too due to layout.”
