“We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient and close to amenities. They arranged a private snorkelling tour from Wasini Island for a reasonable price when the Viator tour operators cancelled on us at the last minute. The breakfast buffet was massive and delicious. They had an impressive acrobatics display one night we were there.”

“Great place to stay. I liked the food and the staff, very friendly. However, the local vendors can be a little aggressive and intimidating. They had events nightly on the resort so really no need to leave resort. Ran into some minor issue with Wi-Fi and room selections. Overall I would definitely return, minus the bees and flies. ”

“Das Pinewood Resort ist ein sehr schönes Hotel mit ausgesprochen freundlichem Personal. Wir haben uns während unserem Aufenthalt sehr wohl gefühlt und waren mit dem Zimmer mit Meerblick wahrlich zufrieden. An Essen und Getränken fehlt es dann dem tollen Personal nie, lediglich im Restaurant beim Abendessen und Frühstück ist es immer sehr warm da es weniger Durchzug gibt. Besonders empfehlenswert ist das Dinner am Strand am Dienstag und Donnerstag! Herzlichen Dank an das ganze Team und besonders……

“This was our third visit to The Baobab, and we thoroughly enjoyed our week there. The only drawback for us is that the dining choices were very heavy on Indian and local cuisine with not many other options. “What a gem of a property this is and the name is fitting as it can be a little difficult to find. The check in was a little slow as the women who is the mother of the owner Ann, was a little green and it took a bit longer than I would have liked. Then Cynthia took me up to the room and what a great surprise! The room was so large with a huge bedroom/living room area; large hallway with plenty of drawer and closet space; a walk in shower with many hoses and the bathroom included a bodet, two……

“This resort was the most Magical and Peaceful place I've ever stayed. The staff deserves a raise because of how attentive and nice they were. The breakfast was so delicious and there was endless options to choose from. I enjoyed my stay so much I didn't want to leave the property. The only suggestion I would have is to offer dessert on their menu. But I would recommend Tombo House to anyway who wants to enjoy nature and wants to get away from the boring ambience of chain hotels.”

“The hotel is just as pictured - gorgeous views from everywhere on the property. The staff were lovely - friendly, always wanting to help, etc. The room was very comfortable and close to everything. As we were both somewhat unwell when we arrived, we would have liked a few more basic options on the dinner menu as our appetites were not there and it was difficult to find simple food that we felt we could handle. Otherwise a perfect stay!”
