“have no complaints about my stay at the cypress moon inn, you cannot beat this place for the price. Location is beautiful, with a balcony that gives you a nice view of the sound side. Breakfast is some fruit and muffins, restocked each day. It's a light breakfast, perfect for starting your day. There's a Walmart nearby just in case you forget or need to pick up anything. “The cottage itself was cute and if properly cleaned and maintained it would have been wonderful. The floor/tiles in one bathroom were loose, in the other bathroom the floor felt "squishy" and there were multiple broken/cracked shelves in the shower. Two of the burners on the stove did not work and when using the stove/oven there was smoke. The window when opened to alleviate the smoke would not stay open. This property allows pets and unfortunately their cleaning and repairs do not keep up with……

“ This was a great house to vacation with the whole family. The host was wonderful when communicating about the rental property. Plenty of room for cooking and relaxing in the living room. We loved the location a short drive to multiple public beach access points in Kitty Hawk and the Avalon Pier. ”

Seems like a lot of rules initially - don't get intimidated. Most of it is common sense stuff. Overall a beautiful home. Our dogs loved hanging out on the porches. ”

“This home is in such a wonderful location. It is clean and has all you need to make meals at home the open kitchen that is right in the middle of the main floor. We also made use of the beach items the home owner provided on our short walk to the private beach and pool areas. There was nothing we needed that was not provided. Owner was very responsive to my last minute rental questions.”
