“I booked here, Outer Banks Lodge, for a last minute getaway and it waa perfect. I didn't get an oceanfront room but the room was literally on the other side so it took a minute to get to the beach. The pool was big with enough seating for plenty of guests. I have already looked at dates to come back and stay here. I honestly think my favorite thing was NO KEY CARD, the locks were electronic so I didnt have to worry about losing it at the beach.”

“We planned this last minute, and they were very accommodating. We got down there Saturday morning at 1015 am. Glenn at the front desk was EXTREMELY nice. He let us park there and go to the beach until our room was ready. I went in at 3pm to see if it was ready (check in at 4pm) and Again Glenn (awesome) was very friendly and got me into my room. All the staff were very friendly, and the room was great.”

“Weekend get a way”

“My family of 5 chose a 2BR cottage on the second floor at Saltaire Cottages. We absolutely loved it; direct access to the beach, literal 10 more steps than the “ocean front” houses. Community pool was the perfect temperature and so clean. Property staff were onsite daily, but not too early or too late as to cause a disturbance. Laundry facilities onsite were a big plus so that we didn’t have to take pounds of sand home from the beach with us. Will recommend to our friends and family, and we……

“Great stay and even greater people. Hotels.com “booked” me a pet friendly room and when I got there to check in, there were none available. Luckily they were accommodating and let us have a regular room with our dogs still. Already talking about planning a trip back next year ”

“Our stay at Beach Rd Bed and Breakfast was amazing! The house is perfectly located across from the beach which provided amazing sunrise and sunset views! The Corolla room had a perfect private balcony and was the best spot for a short beach trip with my dog. The owners left out snacks for breakfast and happy hour which was the sweetest touch! A 10/10 experience!! ”
