“Very nice historic hotel. Plus / minus on being co-located with busy Cuban restaurant. The food at the Cuban restaurant was excellent, but makes the hotel smell like oil and food. Parking also becomes an issue because of the restaurant. The hotel is an excellent location for all things downtown Deland.”

“Very clean and nearby dowtown. Love the decor.”

“Hugo was a wonderful host. He suggested various places to visit. He made great pancakes. It was fun watching him feed the ducks. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The house was quiet and peaceful. It's worth a return trip. ”

“Did not really like the location but for the price we dealt with it. My husband and I stayed 4 nights and there was only 3 towels provided for our entire stay. Good thing I had brought our own in case there was none provided.”

“Thebonly draw back to this room is you cannot control the AC. There is a small space heater, but you cannot turn the air up or down. ”

“We had booked this property back in Oct 2023 for our March 2024 holiday in Florida , paying all the money up front in October 2023 through Hotels.com .We received a confirmation number from Hotels.com and no further correspondence . We expected something further even up to the day we left , flying from Canada but assumed(Incorrectly) that the owner would meet us at the property or would send us something. Upon arrival in Orlando and the drive to Sanford we found out that the unit had been rented……
