“This is my 3rd trip to Balcon Del Mar. ( in the middle of a name change to Paradise Jaco Beach). I love that it’s right on the sand. It’s a small resort and by then end of the week you know the staff, they are wonderful. Breakfast every morning included is also nice. ”

“We hebben een goede ervaring gehad tijdens ons verblijf. Alles was erg netjes en schoon. Ook en zwembad geldt dit voor. We hebben het geluk gehad dat er een apen familie over trok. En ara’s zaten te eten bij het restaurant. Daarnaast was de krokodillen tour die bij de receptie voor je gereserveerd kan worden erg leuk. Het restaurant is prima, en als optie zit er een soda aan het eind van de straat. Wij hebben er drie nachten overnacht.”

“Very nice complex, our garden view turned out to be a roof view, Very friendly staff, little noisy during the day with renovations going on. Complimentary breakfast was good. ”

“Fine for a cheap shopping trip to SJ, but not in a great area, and very basic accom. The discount was presented at 75% off. Marketing scam only. The $50 room is indeed a $50 room. Staff was great. Our meal in their pizza restaurant cost more than the room, but we were not going to walk anywhere to find a more affordable option. ”

“Wonderful Stay – Beautiful Hotel with Excellent Service The hotel is beautiful with stunning views and nice, comfortable rooms. The staff were fantastic—very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. It’s conveniently located just 5 minutes from the beach and about 1.5 hours from San José airport. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again in the future.”

“We liked our room, it was spacious, had a fridge and comfy beds. The pool was clean amd relaxing with warm water. Not crowded. The beach is beautiful but waves were really strong...definitely not for swimming with kids. Food at the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast was not the buffet but overall filling. Birds as anywhere in Costa Rica were entertaining... especially a flock of macaws in a jungle area across the small street. I would return here again.”
