“Close to shopping cruise pier and eateries. Staff was very friendly. Free bottled water was available. There is a neat atrium on the property. Wish there was a place to put shampoo and soap in the shower. ”

“Wonderful overall. First night, ac unit didn’t work I just figured that we got there later in the afternoon and it was muggy. It wasn’t until the morning that it just never cooled enough. I just happened to get a room that had a leaky ac unit. It was fixed the first time within mins when i mentioned to housekeeping. It did start leaking a few days later. I mentioned the front desk on my last day since the ac unit was cooling the rest of the time. ”

“Good location but the worst facilities. It was frozen at night, the elevator didn’t work, noisy room without windows, no phone no chair, no water to drink horrible experience.”

“It is in the heart of Old San Juan. Hard to find a place so convenient to walk in the city. Only thing bothering me is it is so hard to parking in holiday season. I didn't find anywhere as parking lots nearby are closed ”

“Hugo’s location is superb, walkable in Old San Juan anywhere. Communication with property manager/owner was very prompt. Easy self check-in/out. My only complaint is that there were sands/something on the bed and towels when we arrived, which later found out to be likely from the ceiling. Hugo staff came in to change the sheets and replaced towels as requested very promptly. I was very pleased with this stay and would highly recommend Hugo and would definitely return. Bonus, paid parking……

“Good location. You will see big cuisines frm balcony. Food on 2nd floor is excellent, especially the pork ribs.”

“You pay top money for the area. No need to uber anywhere if that’s important to you. Service was top notch; restaurant in rooftop was worth it. Two issues: we were on the 6th floor with a baby (hence a stroller) and both elevators were out for about 12 hours. Also we got a “ suite” room to be able to have an outside view but the only window had a view of…. The hallway. Keep that in mind.”
