“We had 4 nights at Stanford Court. The hotel is right by the cable car stops, so it was really easy to get around town. The staff were polite, and the hotel was clean. Coffee and tea was refilled daily and they were happy to give us extra if we wanted it. The only oddity was that the lifts kept going to the 8th floor - so many people commented on it -and as the floors weren’t that clearly marked from inside the lift, we did get out a couple of times only to discover we were on floor 8, not……
